Here’s another tasty disco treat I found while down in San Francisco. Tasha Thomas‘ “Shoot Me (With Your Love)” is a track New York Times music critic Robert Palmer called “…one of the grittiest and most rousing disco records of the year destined to become a classic of erotic dance music.”

Tasha got her big break when she was cast in the Broadway musical The Wiz. Having proved her broad vocal talents, producers James R. Glaser (aka Jimmi Hood) and Peter Rugile created this sexually-charged disco hit. Her breathy vocals and lively orchestration make this record a heavy hitting floor-filler.
