First off, apologies for not posting recently. I’m back, with a free track from Fred Falke & Savage. I’m quite fond of French house music, which has also been called filter house, the French touch and nu-disco. This style often involves disco samples and filter/phase effects, made famous by artists such as Thomas Bangalter, Cassius and Etienne de Crecy. “Wait For Love”, released in 2000 on Work It Baby Records, is a perfect example of why I adore this kind of music. It’s got funky baselines, and those swirling dreamy effects. Feels like the perfect end to a movie or DJ set. If you caught my opening set for Jacques Renault a few months ago I finished with this lovely tune.
P.S. My residency @ The Eagle has started in Seattle. So if you wanna hear tracks like this and a wide variety of others, check me out 5/10 and 5/31. I’ll play 10-close.
