Blancmange was one of many synth-pop bands coming out of the UK that help to propel the likes of Depeche Mode, New Order and others into mainstream culture. “Feel Me” was release in 1982, but if you were one of the cool kids Blancmange was certainly on your playlist. “Feel Me” only made it to 46 on the charts so it’s perfect for all of us here at Bottom Forty. This remix is from Greg Wilson and it is perfection. Thanks to Mixmag and Greg….enjoy!

I Hear Music In The Streets by Unlimited Touch from Prelude was one of those iconic eastern US club hits. Unlimited Touch is one of those 80’s sounds reminiscent of the likes of Chaz Jankel and Nick Straker.
The super jazzed up funky flavors that taste so good. This edit structurally grabbed every greatest part for us to drop on the floor. Just follow the link. Enjoy.

This track is quintessential funkee-electro-boogie from 1984. Released on the independent label Pizazz out of New York, Pamela Joy’s “Think Fast” is superb.
Primarily a hit on the east coast in black clubs, the bass line, keyboards and rhythm sticks to you. It has all the elements that I looked (bass&rhythm) for in that vein of 122-124 bpm range to bring those dancin’ folks down, and we all know how close we get before heading home. Enjoy.
A track once privately shared with me and some other Seattle DJ’s that I fell in love with, including mixing out of Tensnake himself with this track back in April, has been openly released and available for free download as a thanks to Futurewife‘s 1000 followers on FB. Get it and get physical.
