Ok listen up, the Bottom Forty Interior party is this Saturday Sep. 13 at Kremwerk and we have the amazing DJ/producer Vin Sol on hand to shake us down! All the Bottom Forty residents will be on hand to contribute their signature sounds to the night as well. What can you expect to hear you ask? Well first off, you can be assured that everything you’ll hear will be qual-i-tee.
I’ll give you a little sneak peek of what’s in my virtual record bag for this weekend. Starting with a track from Moiré out on the Werkdiscs imprint. It’s a moody and acid tinged jam that bounces around your head like an atom under the influence of hallucinogens. The B40 crew will surly serve it up propperly this Saturday!
Bonus! Here’s a mix Moiré put together for Fact Magazine last month.

Bottom Forty proudly presents a limited engagement screening of an important snapshot of American dance music history. Love Is The Message – A Night At The Gallery 1977, directed by Nicky Siano, takes the viewer back to the heyday of dance music for one night at New York’s famed club, The Gallery. The film will have just two screenings in Seattle at Northwest Film Forum, June 6 and 7 at 7pm.
Last summer Bottom Forty presented a weekly Sunday dance party at The Cuff. In an effort to instill some B40 aesthetic into the room, we tapped the talents of Seattle’s video montage pranksters, Collide-O-Scope. They prepared a hour long video loop that collected humorous and campy clips all spliced together to magically match with the music we played.
